BuildPilot communications
Service messages needed to operate an account are kept distinct from optional promotional communications where practicable. Marketing communications must identify the sender and provide a valid way to opt out where required.
Customer outreach
Where BuildPilot provides tools that help a customer draft, organise or send business outreach, the customer remains responsible for deciding whether the communication is lawful, identifying the correct sender, selecting appropriate recipients and respecting objections and suppression records.
Suppression
Opt-outs and objections should be actioned promptly. Suppression information may be retained to the extent needed to avoid contacting a person again contrary to their preference.
No purchased-list assumption
The availability of contact information does not itself mean that marketing is permitted. Users must assess the applicable UK GDPR and PECR rules before using personal contact details for direct marketing.
Automated email
Any future automated sending feature must preserve sender identification, permission controls, auditability and suppression. BuildPilot should not be configured to evade opt-outs, disguise identity or send unlawful unsolicited marketing.
