- What is BuildPilot AI?
- A construction and trades SaaS platform combining enquiries, follow-ups, quotations, tender analysis, estimating, rates, marketing and reporting.
- Does AI send messages automatically?
- Important communications are designed to remain drafts until an authorised user reviews and approves them.
- Does BuildPilot invent prices?
- No. Estimating is designed around user-entered figures and the customer's own private rate library.
- Can another company see my rates?
- No. Private rates and workspace data are scoped to the relevant business account.
- What files can Tender Intelligence process?
- Supported workflows may include PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, text and image files, subject to current upload limits and extraction capability.
- Is tender analysis guaranteed to be complete?
- No. AI extraction may miss or misunderstand information. Every finding must be checked against the source documents.
- Does BuildPilot replace an estimator or QS?
- No. It assists with organisation, drafting and analysis; qualified people remain responsible for commercial decisions.
- How does the rate library work?
- Each company stores its own labour, plant, material and subcontract rates, including cost, sell, unit and effective-date information.
- What is the Work Feed?
- A marketplace-style area where businesses may post opportunities and contractors may browse or apply. Users must independently verify each other.
- How are payments handled?
- Hosted payment flows are processed by Stripe. BuildPilot does not intentionally store complete card details.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. Cancellation should be available through billing controls or support and normally stops the next renewal.
- What happens when a contact opts out?
- Opt-out and suppression records should prevent further marketing activity through BuildPilot workflows.
- Is BuildPilot secure?
- It uses layered controls such as authentication, workspace scoping, rate limiting and audit logging, but no online service can promise absolute security.
- Is it suitable for mobile?
- The web application is designed responsively, although some detailed commercial workflows are easier on a larger screen.
